The Accidental Baker is a family run business based in Hillsborough, NC. Our signature items include our vegan muffins, scones and artisan flatbread crackers. We have an unusual baking style which helps us create delicious goodies that are also health conscious. Our version of a scone is a tender treat that includes whole wheat flour, wheat germ and butter, which is the only fat added. The muffins are vegan without any added fats and they all contain wheat germ and oats. We make a Reduced Sugar Blueberry Banana Muffin with 1/2 the sugar in our other muffins and does not have any substitutes. For an afternoon pickup or a morning on the go try our Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Energy Bars which have oats and wheat germ like the muffins and also have milk, so they are not vegan.
