Honey Bee Hills Farm is located about 15 miles north of Hillsborough in Prospect Hill, NC. Liz and Rich Mason started their farm in 2017 after returning to the area from working on overseas assignments in international development. The farm includes 9 acres of certified organic produce fields, 15 acres of pasture, and over 100 acres of woodlands and natural habitat recreation areas.

We grow a wide range of organic vegetables including year-round salad mixes, greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, roots, and herbs. One of our favorite things to grow are hot peppers which we transform into all kinds of candied, pickled, and hot sauce products in the summer. We also love our summer fruit and grow organic strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, and blackberries. Our bees are primarily kept for pollination, but we do harvest some honey each summer that is always worth the wait.

We welcome visitors on our farm. Come out for the day or stay at our year-round campground. We have 2+ miles of signed trails for hiking and mountain biking, a stocked pond, hot showers, and a small farm stand. We hope you’ll come visit us to see where your food comes from.
